No. The app is free to download, free to join, and there are no membership fees.
Merchant partners pay ShopBack a commission on completed sales, and ShopBack shares that commission with members as cash. Members never pay anything.
No. Prices and products are exactly the same as if you had gone to the brand's official site directly. The one difference is in your favor: because you started from ShopBack, the purchase earns real cash back on top. That cash comes out of the commission the merchant pays ShopBack. It is never added to your price.
Your cash savings confirm after the merchant confirms your purchase (for example, once the return or cancellation window has passed). Timing varies by merchant partner, and you can track the status in the app.
Once confirmed, you can withdraw your cash savings from the app to your own bank account, or put it toward your next purchase.
Points are locked to one ecosystem, limited in where you can spend them, and can expire on that program's terms. ShopBack returns real cash: withdraw it to your bank and spend it on anything you like.
